The Kiloutou group, the third largest equipment rental company in Europe, has changed the organization of its ExCom with the recruitment of Joanne Van Doesburg as Group HR Director, the appointment of Antoine Clech as Chief Financial Officer, and the promotion of Jan-Luc Ambre to the role of International Director.
These changes within the leadership team aim to accelerate the Group’s international structuring and pursue the growth objectives set for 2030.
Appointing a Group HR Director to create a shared culture across the Group
Joanne Van Doesburg was recently recruited as Group Human Resources Director. With a proven track record of over 25 years in human resources within major international groups, her mission will be to transition Kiloutou from an international company into a unified European group – with a common language, a shared culture, and a harmonized talent policy.
Holding a law degree from the Sorbonne, Joanne has built the core of her career in human resources within highly demanding environments. During her 17 years at Danone, and subsequently at Andros and Sanofi Consumer Healthcare, she developed a proven ability to engage at all levels of an organization – from executive boards to frontline teams. She has successfully designed foundational HR policies in times of transformation and positioned the HR function at the heart of strategic decisions. She later worked independently, focusing on coaching and leadership training.
An international division strengthened by a leader renowned for its leadership and industry knowledge
Jan-Luc Ambre, previously Chief Financial Officer of the Kiloutou group and already a member of the ExCom, is transitioning to the role of International Director. In this position, he will pursue the roadmap aimed at consolidating the Group’s leadership within the Top 3 of all its active markets, which will drive the international share past the 50% threshold of the group’s total revenue.
Having been with Kiloutou for 23 years, Jan-Luc possesses an in-depth understanding of the Group’s business lines, strategy, and challenges. Working alongside the various business divisions, he has supported the Group’s growth by establishing an efficient financial structure, enabling Kiloutou to quintuple its revenue in 15 years and very recently surpass the €1 billion milestone.
Renowned for his management qualities and his hands-on approach, his new mission will be to maintain the Group’s growth and performance trajectories internationally, supporting international subsidiary directors as they adapt the Group’s objectives to the specific needs of their respective countries. His role will also involve strengthening cooperation between the countries and the Group’s support functions, as well as developing synergies.
Antoine Clech promoted to Group Chief Financial Officer
With Jean-Luc Ambre moving into the role of International Director, Antoine Clech takes over as Group Chief Financial Officer and joins the Executive Committee.
Having joined Kiloutou in 2023 as Deputy CFO, Antoine helped structure and professionalize the Group’s financial communication, played an active role in the recent debt refinancing, and contributed to establishing the Group’s performance management framework.
His interpersonal and technical skills, combined with his commitment, will be key assets to the Group’s success. His responsibilities will include further structuring financial processes, as well as driving and optimizing performance in collaboration with the Business Units and Group corporate departments.
