The Kiloutou Group has just acquired Urbaparc*, a company specializing in the rental of equipment for civil engineering.
This company, created in 1994, has an excellent image of quality of service and professionalism with its customers, independent tradesmen, SMEs and major national accounts. Urbaparc operates 5 branches in the Île-de-France region, run by 44 teammates. They provide professionals with a fleet of more than 1,500 machines, mainly loaders, excavators and compactors. The company also has a recognized activity in the sale and rental of signalling equipment.
The Kiloutou and Urbaparc networks will retain their operational autonomy until they merge, which is planned for the future. However, commercial cooperation will be set up rapidly in order to further improve the quality of their services.
Kiloutou will rely on the experience and know-how of the existing teams to continue to develop Urbaparc’s business. These teammates will be able to take advantage of all the professional opportunities offered by the group, both locally and nationally, and thus contribute to its continued expansion.
“This acquisition is part of Kiloutou’s growth dynamic. It allows the group to strengthen its presence in the civil engineering market in the Île-de-France region and to expand its territorial coverage for this clientele. I am very happy to welcome Urbaparc’s teammates to the Kiloutou group and I am convinced that the sense of customer service shared by the respective teams will facilitate a rapid integration.”
Xavier du Boÿs, Chairman and CEO of the Kiloutou Group
“I am delighted that the Kiloutou Group has taken over Urbaparc. It illustrates the quality of the company and allows it to continue its development by providing it with additional resources and means. I am confident in the ability of the teams to make this merger a real success.”
Christian Blavec, Chairman and majority shareholder of Urbaparc
On a national level, this operation is part of a sustained development dynamic for the Kiloutou Group, with a strong increase in its organic growth and continued external growth with the acquisitions already made of Mediac’up Atlantique in December 2010, the access activities of the Altéad Group in June 2011, BM Loc and Top Loc in November 2011, and Starlift in November 2012.
