The KILOUTOU Group has just acquired DEA, a Bologna-based company specializing in the rental of motorized access equipment, earthmoving machinery, and transport vehicles. This new transaction, which comes six months after a previous acquisition in Italy, allows KILOUTOU Italia to continue its development and strengthen its commercial presence in the Emilia-Romagna region, where Kiloutou already operates 3 branches.
Founded in Bologna in 2007, DEA is a generalist rental company offering a range of aerial work platforms. Its fleet comprises over 500 pieces of equipment, and its two branches located on the outskirts of Bologna primarily serve industrial clients. Complementing Kiloutou’s existing operations in Emilia-Romagna, the DEA branches and their 13 employees will be rebranded to join the Kiloutou Italy network, which now has 27 branches and 300 team members. Andrea De Angelis, owner and manager of DEA, will join the Kiloutou Italy team.
“To strengthen our presence in the north of the country, we rely on strong local partners. The acquisitions of F.I.M in July 2025 and of DEA today are part of this dynamic, which we also wish to strengthen in the coming months. We aim to extend our coverage nationwide by combining local expertise with a wide range of general and specialized equipment to support our customers in their projects.”
Andrea Lusvardi, Managing Director Kiloutou Italy
“DEA represents our fifth acquisition in less than 12 months in Europe. We are pursuing our growth objective within the 7 countries where the Group is present. Italy offers significant development potential and we intend to establish a long-term presence there. I am convinced that DEA’s expertise and its 13 team members will allow us to increase our impact in the north of the country.”
