Kiloutou has been implementing a real CACES training policy since this year. The goal is to become the first rental company to offer a national range of regulatory training courses, with a real legitimacy in CACES training.
For greater performance, Kiloutou’s training offers 75% of the time dedicated to practical training and an unparalleled alternation with the theoretical part.
For several years now, Kiloutou has been welcoming training organisations to its branches that provide regulatory CACES (Safety Aptitude Certificate) training.
Since the end of 2010, a global reflection has been carried out on the opportunity to develop this type of offer, in order to reinforce the range of solutions that Kiloutou can provide to its clients, in particular through an “in-house” offer of CACES training (R386 and R372).
This reflection has led Kiloutou to completely rethink the usual course of training in order to optimise the learning process and encourage the assimilation of messages:
- A training programme mainly oriented towards practice: the training programme has been designed to offer 75% of the total training time in contact with equipment (vs. 50% for the majority of existing offers on the market) because Kiloutou knows the importance of this material contact in the learning process.
- An unparalleled combination of theory and practice: this combination of theoretical and practical sequences makes the theoretical training much more accessible and allows the safety messages to be better assimilated.
- Validation of the training by an approved and independent organisation: Kiloutou does not wish to be “judge and jury” of the training it delivers. These training courses are validated by external organisations that guarantee total objectivity in the delivery of the certificate.
- A wide range of equipment: the availability of equipment on the training sites means that different types of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms and Construction Equipment can be used during the training. This diversity then allows a better understanding of the equipment used on the sites (technologies, safety devices, etc.).
- Trainers with a perfect command of the equipment: all trainers are Kiloutou employees and have a thorough knowledge of the equipment thanks to the different jobs they have held in the company before becoming trainers.
- Guaranteed training sessions, with no minimum number of participants: Kiloutou is aware that planning employee training sessions is difficult to fit into a daily activity. For this reason, when a training date is confirmed, Kiloutou commits to maintaining it even if the number of participants is low.
Through this CACES training policy, Kiloutou is giving itself the means to become the first rental company to offer a truly national range of regulatory training courses, reflecting its ambition to be a legitimate CACES training partner for all its customers.
