Kiloutou Module expands in the French modular construction market

FranceInnovation

In 2015, Kiloutou enriched its portfolio of specialities by acquiring AKMO and ACM, dedicated to the supply of modular solutions in Paris and Bordeaux. In 2016, the companies Tora, Landrau and Contains, with branches in Lille, Angers and Toulouse, were added to this specialist network.

Today, the 5 branches are grouped under the Kiloutou Module banner and employ nearly 100 teammates. Thanks to a wide and varied range of services, Kiloutou Module meets the specific needs of professionals in the construction and civil engineering sector, local authorities, industrial companies and event organisers on a daily basis.

Teams and services adapted to the needs of construction sites

In addition to Kiloutou’s general offer (monoblocks and containers), the Kiloutou Module brand, with its specialist branches, provides its customers with tailored know-how and support including:

  • A sales team dedicated to studying projects, from the simplest (R0 to R+2) to the most complex (up to R+5).
  • A design office for calculating, among other things, the load bearing capacity and bracing.
  • A range of more than 9,000 references, consisting of monoblocks, assemblable modular spaces, straight staircases or cages, wastewater tanks, self-contained modular spaces on cradles as well as a catalogue of furniture.
  • A varied range of services including delivery by crane truck, installation, connection of electricity and fluids, commissioning and support until the handover of the keys.

National roll-out in 2019

As a multi-specialist rental company offering high value-added solutions, Kiloutou intends to continue developing the Kiloutou Module brand in France. The opening of a branch in Paris Nord is planned for 2019. Other openings are planned in France with the ambition, within 5 years, to have about fifteen branches spread throughout the country.
