The Kiloutou Group has just acquired the Starlift companies in Luxembourg and France, which specialize in access equipment rental services.
These two companies were created in 2002 and enjoy an excellent image of service quality and professionalism with their customers. Starlift is a specialist rental company for access equipment and consists of a company in Luxembourg with one branch and a company in France operating 4 branches in the eastern region. Led by 24 teammates, they provide professionals with a fleet of 330 lifting machines, including 240 work platforms, 70 forklifts, 16 bucket trucks and 4 heavy-duty work platforms.
This operation will enable the Kiloutou Group to significantly strengthen its presence in eastern France, where it already has 24 branches, and to offer a total fleet of 1,000 access machines. It also gives Kiloutou the opportunity to expand into the Luxembourg market.
The two networks will retain their operational autonomy until 2013, while already setting up commercial cooperation to further improve the quality of their services.
Xavier Maucourt, who contributed to the successful development of Starlift, will join the management team of the Eastern Region and will continue to manage Starlift while the networks are integrated.
On a national level, this operation is part of a sustained development dynamic for the Kiloutou Group, with solid organic growth and continued external growth with the acquisitions of Mediac’up Atlantique in December 2010, the access activities of the Altéad Group in June 2011, BM Loc and Top Loc in November 2011.
