The Kiloutou Group has just acquired Salmat and Jean-Bart Location, two companies specialising in the rental of equipment for industry and construction in the Normandy and Hauts-de-France regions. This transaction allows Kiloutou to complete its network in France while strengthening its position in two very dynamic regions.
The group, which is made up of Salmat (Normandy) and Jean-Bart Location (Hauts de France), is a key player in the rental of equipment for industry and construction, with a workforce of nearly 100 people and a network of 10 branches located in Lille (Nieppe), Calais, Dunkirk, Le Havre (Oudalle), Rouen, Le Neubourg, Evreux, Caen (Carpiquet and Giberville) and Cherbourg. It has a fleet of nearly 3,500 machines and equipment of all sizes that it makes available to a professional clientele consisting of independent tradesmen, SMEs and national players in the industry and construction sector.
The aim of this operation is to offer the respective customers of the two groups an ever higher level of service, with an extended network in each of the two regions and an enhanced equipment offer. The Kiloutou Group intends to draw on the experience and know-how of the Salmat and Jean-Bart Location teams to continue to develop their specific activities.

Salmat Nord, which is located in the Hauts-de-France region and shares the same trade name, is not part of the operation and remains completely independent of the Kiloutou Group.
