The Kiloutou Group has just acquired La Centrale De Location (LCDL) Group, which specialises in the rental of construction and civil engineering equipment in the north of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. This transaction will allow Kiloutou to continue its development and strengthen its earthmoving equipment offer in this region.
La Centrale De Location Group is a long-standing and recognised player in the rental of construction equipment in its sector. It has a fleet of more than 1,600 machines of all sizes (notably excavators, loaders, compactors and various tooling equipment) which it makes available to a clientele of civil engineering and construction professionals from its five sites located in Mâcon, Péronnas (Bourg-en-Bresse), Belleville-en-Beaujolais, Dardilly (Lyon Nord) and Leyment (Ambérieu-en-Bugey).
This acquisition will enable Kiloutou to offer its customers an even higher level of service quality and to expand its earthmoving equipment offer by integrating new branches that complement its current network. Kiloutou intends to rely on the experience and know-how of La Centrale De Location’s teams to continue developing its business.
“This merger will strengthen our territorial coverage, develop our network in the Ain, Rhône and Saône-et-Loire departments and increase our service offering. I am very happy to welcome the teammates of La Centrale De Location who will be an essential driving force for Kiloutou’s development in the region.”
Pierre Knoché, Managing Director, Kiloutou France
“I am delighted that Kiloutou has acquired La Centrale De Location. The proposed project was an essential element in my decision to sell. It will allow our Group to continue its development with the additional resources and means that the Kiloutou Group will make available to it. I am confident in the ability of the teams of both companies to make this merger a real success.”
Etienne Papion, owner and manager of La Centrale De Location
