In October 2021, Kiloutou launched the iMPAKT range: a set of more than 3,500 alternative materials designed to help customers reduce CO2 emissions on their construction sites. Today, its subsidiary Kiloutou Energie, which specialises in temporary energy and pumping solutions, is joining the project by integrating hybrid generator sets.
Hybrid technology : savings and performance
Kiloutou Energie currently offers electric generators from 20 to 1600 kVA as well as pumps with flow rates ranging from 35 to 960m3/h. By joining forces with PRAMAC, the world’s third largest producer of generator sets and lighting towers, the subsidiary will be able to offer hybrid generator sets from the first quarter of 2022, thus continuing the environmental commitments launched by the Group.
Equipped with a stage V engine that complies with the latest anti-pollution standards and rechargeable electric batteries, they allow professionals, like their diesel equivalent, to maintain optimal activity on site in the event of power cuts or the absence of a connection to the electricity network.
The hybrid equipment saves up to 40% on fuel and helps to reduce carbon emissions. The unit can operate 24 hours a day, adapting to needs: in hybrid mode for optimum efficiency or to absorb peaks in consumption, in battery mode for an energy supply without carbon emissions or noise pollution
Telematics, for more serene work sites
Connected, these hybrid generators allow Kiloutou Energie’s customers to control their worksites remotely and obtain information on their equipment. This is one of the complements to the rental offer available in its 10 French branches, offering greater peace of mind and flexibility to professionals.
