Kiloutou continues its expansion in Spain with the acquisition of Mayval

The Kiloutou Group has just acquired Mavyal (MAQUINARIA VENTA Y ALQUILER NORTE), a Spanish equipment rental company, as well as its 100% subsidiary Suministros Zelai. This new strategic operation enables Kiloutou Spain to strengthen its network in the northern Spain by adding six branches in the regions of La Rioja, Aragon, Cyl, and the Basque Country.

Founded in 1987, Mavyal is a generalist equipment rental company with a central branch in La Rioja and a network of five local branches in Aragon and Castile & León, as well as operations in the Basque Country. With a team of 45, the company manages over 3,500 rental pieces of equipment and offers customized services for large scaffolding projects, along with a full range of consumables. Its professional clients benefit from direct delivery or collection services at the branches.

The transaction has been approved by the CNMC, the Spanish Merger Control Authority.

An ambition for national network in Spain

Following three successive acquisitions in Spain in October 2024 (ToolQuick), then in December 2024 (Liftisa and Gloobal), this new transaction allows Kiloutou to continue building a generalist network, in order to achieve national  coverage of the Spanish market and improve its range of products and services for its local and national customers. Over the next few months, the Mavyal’s branches and teams will join the Kiloutou Spain network, which currently comprises 61 branches and 500 employees.

This new acquisition is part of the roadmap plan by the Kiloutou group for 2030, within the framework of its european development

Within five years, the ambition is to position itself among the top three markets where the Group operates and to increase its business outside France to nearly 50% of its revenue.
