The Kiloutou group is pleased to announce the acquisition of Sticar, a company specialising in the rental of access equipment and industrial trucks in northern Italy. With this operation, Kiloutou continues its international expansion plan by strengthening its leading position in Northern Italy.
Sticar is a key regional player in the rental of access equipment and industrial trucks in various regions of northern Italy, including Lombardy, Veneto, Piedmont and Emilia Romagna. The company has a network of 9 branches and a staff of 76 people. Recognised for its expertise, Sticar has a fleet of 850 access machines and 475 industrial trucks, which it supplies to a customer base of professionals in the industrial and construction sectors.
After the acquisition of the Cofiloc group (Cofiloc & Euronol) in July 2017 and of Elevo in June 2018, Sticar allows Kiloutou to strengthen its leading position in the strategic regions of northern Italy. Kiloutou will bring together the experience and know-how of its 220 Italian employees to develop innovative solutions and complementary services within an extensive network of 20 branches, providing its customers with more than 5,000 different rental equipment items (excluding accessories).
“This acquisition is fully in line with Kiloutou’s international development strategy aimed at consolidating our positions in high-potential markets. It illustrates once again our ability to unite high quality regional players around our development project. Kiloutou’s short-term objective is to integrate all of Sticar’s teams and to continue its development on the Italian market through internal growth, the opening of agencies and the acquisition of strategic players. I warmly welcome the 76 STICAR team members to the Kiloutou group.”
Olivier Colleau, Chief Executive Officer, Kiloutou Group

It will allow our two companies to enter a new phase of development in Italy by combining their strengths and teams, while continuing to offer the excellent level of service for which our two companies are known. I personally believe in Kiloutou’s development project in Italy, and am delighted that all our teammates can now participate fully in it.”
Paolo Stimamiglio, shareholder and President of Sticar
This transaction, which is still subject to obtaining the usual authorisations, should be fully finalised by the end of October 2019.
It is part of the Kiloutou Group’s active development dynamic, through regular organic growth and the pursuit of selective acquisitions. Internationally, it is an extension of the development strategy initiated in Poland, Spain, Italy and Germany over the last 6 years.
