The Kiloutou group has just acquired Elevo, a company specialising in the rental of access equipment in the Bergamo region of Italy. This operation allows Kiloutou to pursue its international development plan by strengthening its presence as a specialist in Lombardy, a strategic region for equipment rental in Italy.
Elevo is a leader in the rental of access equipment in the Bergamo, Brescia and Milan regions. Recognised for its expertise, the company and its team of 23 people offer a fleet of more than 500 access machines (aerial work platforms, articulated work platforms) of up to 100m which they make available to a clientele made up of professionals from various economic sectors.
Following on from the acquisition of Cofiloc and Euronol in July 2017, this new acquisition allows Kiloutou to strengthen its presence in Northern Italy, on the strategic Milan – Venice axis. Kiloutou will rely on the experience and know-how of Elevo’s teams to accelerate the development of its activities in Lombardy.
“This acquisition is fully in line with Kiloutou’s international development strategy, which aims to expand our positions in new high-potential regions. It illustrates once again our ability to unite high quality regional players around our development project. The group’s long-term objective is to continue its development on the Italian market through internal growth, opening branches and acquiring strategic players. I warmly welcome the 23 Elevo teammates to the Kiloutou Group.”
Olivier Colleau, Chief Executive Officer, Kiloutou group
“We are delighted that the Kiloutou Group has acquired our company. It will allow Elevo to join the Cofiloc network of branches and to undertake a new phase of its development in Lombardy, while continuing to offer the excellent level of service for which our company is known. I personally believe in Kiloutou’s development project in Italy, and I am delighted to take on new operational functions within the Group”.
Sergio Gualandris, founder and CEO of Elevo
This operation is part of the Kiloutou Group’s active development dynamic, with regular organic growth and continued external growth. Internationally, it extends the development strategy undertaken in Poland, Spain, Italy and Germany over the last 5 years.
