The Kiloutou group has just acquired GL Verleih NRW Cologne, a company specialising in the rental of access equipment in the Cologne region in Germany. This operation allows Kiloutou to pursue its international development plan by strengthening its presence as a specialist on the German market, a few weeks after the acquisition of the Butsch Meier group in Baden-Baden.
GL Verleih NRW Cologne is a local player in the rental of access equipment in the metropolis of Cologne, in the heart of the federal state of North Rhine Westphalia. With a branch office ideally located in the north of Cologne, the company and its 18 teammates offer a fleet of more than 100 access machines (aerial work platforms, articulated lifting platforms) of up to 70 m in length, which they make available to a clientele consisting mainly of industrial professionals.
Following on from the acquisition of Starlift in 2016 and the Butsch Meier group in May 2018, this new acquisition enables Kiloutou to continue to expand its access equipment rental business in Germany. The branch, its staff and management team will become part of the Starlift branch network with a change of name in the coming months.

GL Verleih Arbeitsbühnen GmbH, located in Kelkheim and bearing the same trade name, is not part of this operation and remains fully independent. This operation is part of the active development dynamics of the Kiloutou group, with regular organic growth and continued external growth. Internationally, it extends the development strategy initiated in Poland, Spain, Italy and Germany over the last 5 years.
