In a rapidly changing market where candidates are becoming scarcer, Kiloutou was able to welcome 1,500 new teammates in 2022, compared to an initial target of 1,000 recruitments. This year, the group is stepping up its responsible recruitment programme with the ambitious objective of 1000 new recruits in 2023, thanks to a personalised support system for both successful and unsuccessful candidates.
Innovating for a more responsible recruitment
Kiloutou is a pioneer in innovative recruitment. Since April 2022, the recruitment of new teammates has been based on direct contact between the candidate and a recruiter. In addition to the possibility of applying in a branch, the future candidate can make an appointment with a recruiter in just a few clicks on the kiloutourecrute.com website. For this 15-minute video conference flash interview, there is no need to prepare a CV, only the availability schedule is required! For Kiloutou, it is the personality and motivation of each individual that makes the difference. This innovative process has been acclaimed: in 2022, 500 interviews were conducted via the website. If the candidate’s profile is selected, he or she is offered a “discovery day” in the branch. This is another innovative scheme offered by Kiloutou that allows candidates to discover their future colleagues, their future work environment and their job. The 700 discovery days organised in 2022 have enabled Kiloutou, but also each of the candidates, to make a transparent decision to work together.
Kiloutou wanted to showcase its unique and responsible recruitment process in a film, available online. The video, which features a candidate who is as atypical as he is motivated, takes up each step of the process. It is designed to guarantee candidates an optimal experience. For them, it is a simple and humorous way of getting in touch with the company’s culture, and for Kiloutou, an appeal to all types of profiles, while promoting the expertise of its business lines.
Commitment to accompanying each candidate
Once the candidate has been selected, the discovery of the Kiloutou environment is followed by personalised support over a period of 12 months. In order to ensure that new arrivals quickly and effectively acquire the necessary skills, Kiloutou is developing its integration programme, which is divided into several stages. The objective for the new teammate is to:
- Understand the fundamentals of the job,
- Attend job and equipment training, such as the SSP (Health, Safety and Prevention) training, which ensures a corporate culture based on risk prevention and proactive management of employee safety, and proactive management of employee and customer safety,
- Benefit from individual coaching in the agency to deepen your knowledge of essential notions.
Team cohesion is ensured by collective discoveries of the headquarters and the Group’s activities. In addition to its training and managerial training offer, Kiloutou provides its teams with an e-learning platform.
