At the BATIMAT trade fair (3 to 6 October 2022), Kiloutou will present the most recent innovations created to support environmental transition in the sector. The increasing use of electric machinery is making on-site charging solutions a necessity. With its new powerbank model and a hydrogen-powered generator, Kiloutou is facilitating the use of this new equipment and helping the market to mature in terms of environmental transition.
For more sustainable construction sites
As a site performance specialist, Kiloutou is strongly focused on innovation toward a construction industry more attentive to environmental and human needs. The 3,500 items of equipment in the iMPAKT range are designed to address new on-site problems, such as CO2 emissions and noise reduction. The electric machines among them offer a high-performance alternative to thermal engines, but do require a nearby energy source. That is why Kiloutou has continued to innovate with two new charging solutions:
- Powerbanks: the Wattsun model, including a 2,000 W / 1,400 Wh battery pack and four extra 1,600 Wh batteries, which are stackable and can provide up to 10 hours of charging for light equipment on site. Silent, easy to transport and resistant to jets of water, it helps remove barriers to using electric by offering an effective charging solution.

- A 4,000 W, 220 V hydrogen-powered generator: this too provides an on-site energy supply, while minimizing noise nuisance and CO2 emissions.

“These technologies are just the beginning of the story. We are testing them step by step and becoming familiar with them in trials with our customers. As an equipment category, generators are the biggest contributor to our carbon footprint (26%), so it is essential that we explore new avenues!”
William Oldman, Technical Methods Director
This equipment, along with other tools and machinery from the iMPAKT range, will be on display at the show and in the dedicated outdoor space.
For safer construction sites
For Kiloutou, committing to sustainability in construction activity means a focus both on the environment and on people. At Batimat, Kiloutou is introducing its Kare range, dedicated to safety and ergonomics at facilities and on construction sites. The latest addition to the range – the Zero-Gravity Arm – will also be on show. It is designed to prevent musculoskeletal complaints by relieving the weight of their tool (up to 15 kg) on the operator.
For simpler construction sites
Continuing the theme of offering each customer increasingly practical and effective solutions, Kiloutou presents KFLEET, its new service for managing fleets of portable electric equipment. In partnership with Milwaukee, this solution offers 36- or 48-month rentals, with over 600 wired and battery appliances to choose from.
“After two years away, this year’s Batimat is a chance to meet up with our existing customers and introduce others to all our latest innovations. Whether the focus is on carbon reduction, ergonomics or productivity, we constantly work alongside our customers to better understand their needs and the constraints they face.”
