Uxello, a subsidiary of the Vinci group and the French leader in fire protection, recently called on Kiloutou to bring the underground pipes at the Château de Chambord up to standard.
A team effort
To meet the needs of this unusual project, 3 players were involved:
- The Kiloutou Ingré branch, which provided a forklift truck
- Kiloutou Energy, which hired a pump to empty the castle’s underground tanks
- KGS (Kiloutou Global Service), which provided a gas detector.
Teamwork, then, and proof of the synergy between the general network and Kiloutou’s subsidiaries.
Yellow, but also green!
Regarding the forklift truck, which will be rent for a period of 2 weeks four times during 2024, Uxello chose a 6m model from the iMPAKT range of alternative equipment to meet a dual objective:
- To guarantee noise comfort for on-site visitors
- Reduce the site’s carbon emissions
