Driven by its ambitious growth strategy, the Kiloutou Group has posted a 2022 turnover of €1,018 million, up +28.4%. The French Group, which is now established in 7 European countries, has passed the symbolic €1 billion mark and confirmed its growth dynamic in all its markets. In a 2023 economic climate that remains full of uncertainty, Kiloutou has chosen to differentiate itself by accelerating its digital transformation.
2022: Record turnover with solid growth
The year 2022 was marked by the achievement of a record turnover of €1,018m and solid growth of +28.4% (+6.6% on a like-for-like basis). The symbolic milestone of €1 billion was reached as the Group successfully entered two new European markets: Denmark in April 2022, and Portugal in November, through the acquisition of the respective leaders in these territories – GSV and Vendap. The Kiloutou Group thus strengthens its position as the 3rd largest European player in the rental market, present in 7 countries and continuing to develop its territorial coverage in all its regions.
The Kiloutou Group confirms the successful pursuit of its environmental roadmap and in particular its commitment to accelerate the transition of its equipment fleet through a proactive investment policy: 35% of investments in 2023 will be dedicated to low carbon equipment.

Digital, a lever for growth and performance
A forerunner in the construction sector in terms of digitalization, the Kiloutou Group maintains a high level of ambition for this growth and performance lever for its activities.
The Group is now differentiating itself by increasing the digitalization of its customer experience. The new Kiloutou.fr website, which recently went online, is part of this approach by offering better support in choosing equipment and advice on how to use it, while improving the online booking service.
But the impact of this digital transformation can be seen right to the heart of the business model: today, it accompanies the transformation of Kiloutou’s businesses to make them more efficient and effective and thus increase the quality of services offered to customers on their sites.
In this respect, the Apizee remote diagnosis solution has become part of the daily life of many technicians and customers: almost one in seven interventions are carried out remotely in France. This solution represents a gain, both in terms of productivity and environmental impact: the customer does not have to wait for the technician to arrive, and the technician does not have to travel, thus avoiding the CO2 emissions caused by his transport.
The development of telematics solutions has also led to the development of many uses at the heart of Kiloutou’s business. Data, whether it helps to geolocate equipment on work sites or to anticipate certain maintenance operations, is now a guarantee of better efficiency and quality of service. But the analysis of this data also constitutes a considerable asset for accelerating the development of more sustainable uses, with lower CO2 emissions. Indeed, data allows for a more detailed knowledge of the CO2 impact of equipment (monitoring of the idling of thermal equipment, fuel consumption), which is essential data to better support customers and, more broadly, all players in the sector in taking into account the impact of equipment and establishing plans to improve the carbon footprint of worksites.
For Kiloutou, this accelerating digital transformation is also a lever for short, medium and long-term economic performance. In just 3 years, the turnover generated on the digital channel has increased tenfold.
